Cefco, a popular convenience store chain in the south needed a new jingle for their brand. Why not make it a sweepstakes and encourage interaction with the Cefco brand? Music brings people from all over the world together, which was the focus. Artists could upload performance videos of their version of the new Cefco jingle while sweepstakes entrants could vote for their favorite. The artist had a chance to win $5000 and be the new voice of Cefco. Two separate websites had to be created to acheive this goal, one for the artists, another for the voters.
One of the first things you notice on the sight is the colorful animated spectrum analyzer. Speaking to musicians and lovers of color and movement, this little treat adds a different element of visual interest.
This website implimented an easy video URL upload feature to make it extremely easy for artists to upload a Cefco jingle 'demo'. The demos would then be judged by the client then narrowed down to 10 finalists.
